Preferences: Updates
Prerequisites for use: None; this dialog box can be opened at any time.
Use: Updates preferences are used to set defaults for handling automatic updates of the application and modules.
Open: Click Updates in the list of the Preferences dialog box. The Updates settings area is displayed.
Options in the Updates Area of the Preferences Dialog Box
Application Area: Used to determine how Accordance handles application updates. Available options are:
- Automatically check for application updates: When checked, Accordance checks for updates automatically, based on your selection from the Frequency of automatic check pop-up menu.
- Frequency of automatic check pop-up menu: Available items are: Hourly, Daily, Weekly, and Monthly. The default setting is Daily.
Modules Area: Used to determine how Accordance handles checking for module/resource
updates. Available options are:
- Automatically check for modules updates: When checked, Accordance checks for updates to installed modules/resources automatically, based on your selection from the Frequency of automatic check pop-up menu.
- Frequency of automatic check pop-up menu: Available items are: Daily, Weekly, and Monthly. The default setting is Weekly.
