Preferences: Updates

Prerequisites for use: None; this dialog box can be opened at any time.      

Use: Updates preferences are used to set defaults for handling automatic updates of the application and modules Any Bible text, or other single tool that can be read in Accordance, including reference texts and articles; may also be referred to as content or resource.

Open: Click Updates in the list of the Preferences dialog box. The Updates settings area is displayed.

Application Area: Used to determine how Accordance handles application updates. Available options are:

• Automatically check for application updates: When checked, Accordance checks for updates automatically, based on your selection from the Frequency of automatic check pop-up menu.
• Frequency of automatic check pop-up menu: Available items are: Hourly, Daily, Weekly, and Monthly. The default setting is Daily.

Modules Area: Used to determine how Accordance handles checking for module Any Bible text, or other single tool that can be read in Accordance, including reference texts and articles; may also be referred to as content or resource/resource Any Bible text, or other single tool that can be read in Accordance, including reference texts and articles; may also be referred to as content or module updates. Available options are:

• Automatically check for modules updates: When checked, Accordance checks for updates to installed modules/resources automatically, based on your selection from the Frequency of automatic check pop-up menu.
• Frequency of automatic check pop-up menu: Available items are: Daily, Weekly, and Monthly. The default setting is Weekly.
